Trilogy of Hope (II)

Found myself in space far from the world
Not a sound can heard in the blankness of space
I hear no answer to my waiting question
In space there is only the echo of silence

How I long to be near you
To feel you touch
To hear your love
Draw me from this space

Bring me to a place where I can talk to you
Where I can hear your voice
Let there be no ambient noise
Just you pure clear voice

You can hear me
Yet I cannot hear you
You can see my distress
Yet I cannot feel your response

How I long to hear from you
How I long for an answer
I know you will respond
I know I will hear you voice

My ears are expecting
Waiting to hear you answer
Let your reply be of comfort and love
For you are a loving God, one that blesses me abundantly

Amen.

Trilogy of Hope (I)

Confused, lost, detached? What am I to do?
There is no looking back to the past
And the future is darkened by silence
Where do I go and what should I do?

Caught up in thoughts
Strangled by reason
I do not know what to do anymore
My life is slipping through my hands

Teared up on the inside
Smiling on the outside
Will there be an answer?
As I expect and wait, and wait

Saddened by desires
Clouded in limbo
Life walking though the quicksand
Sinking, drowning, dieing in sorrow

Tears flow down
With no apparent comfort to wipe them
No air in a sear of tears
Gasping for breath in a wash of sorrow

Please take my hand and lift me out
Save me from my thoughts
Free me from my pain
Rescue me from myself

Let there be an answer through this all
While the road is filled with pain
Let the destination give me happiness
May and trust and faith fuel me towards the goal

Amen.
